About Me
Welcome to my space.
I recognise that seeking support, researching and trying to understand what counselling may look like can be a difficult task. Albeit, I am trained within different modalities of therapy, I cannot emphasise how important it is for me to allow for my personality to guide me within my practice and sessions. My hope is that you experience a fellow human being fully present and someone that can support your needs by investing in the therapeutic relationship.
My priority is to develop and sustain a meaningful therapeutic relationship. A relationship whereby you feel secure and trusting to become wholly present and move towards peace. A space of awareness in moving forward to provide an understanding of behaviours and the beliefs that shape your relationships with self and others.
I am passionate about my practice and I want you to experience that authenticity and genuine willingness to work together..
I have worked for ten+ years providing one-one guidance and therapeutic support within an array of environments including the counselling room, hostels, prisons, probation offices, schools, community settings and family homes.
As a qualified Integrative Therapist I am trained in various methods of therapy to provide an all-inclusive approach to meet your needs. This includes Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and a Psychodynamic Approach. This encompasses a space of non-judgement, at a pace you are comfortable alongside ways of working that can adapt thinking patterns and behaviours as well as providing an understanding of the origins of such challenges.
