At Compassionately Curious Counselling, I understand that your challenges, whether they relate to anxiety, depression, the lasting effects of trauma or PTSD, navigating ADHD, or struggles with sleep, intimacy, or relationships are deeply personal and shaped by your unique experiences and context.
Together, we’ll explore these experiences within the broader fabric of your life, considering your history, relationships, and beliefs to uncover meaningful insights and opportunities for growth. A direct and collaborative approach to counselling, whether you are an individual or seeking relationship counselling. While warmth, curiosity, and compassion are at the heart of this practice, you will also experience a direct and honest approach. This means we will not shy away from difficult conversations, contradictions, or areas of discomfort — in fact, these are often where the most meaningful change can occur.
A direct style of therapy is not about being confrontational, but about being clear, focused, and authentic.
Within both individual and relationship counselling, I am fully committed to the therapeutic process and strive to be present, engaged, and attentive in our work together. When necessary, I will challenge constructively, encourage honesty, recognising when the space is required for silence, to pause, reflect and process yet also notice when helpful resources are needed from a practical perspective and offer insight.
I am passionate about my practice, and I hope that throughout our work together, you will experience my genuine commitment and authenticity.
Take care, ,Adam
